Pramesh Hettiarachchi initially studied Nanotechnology in the University of Wollongong. During his study he worked in the Wollongong Science Centre and Planetarium. It was during these years where his passion for science and public education came to fruition. He takes pride in his ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple and concise way. In the following years he commenced and completed the graduate entry program, Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Sydney.
Dr. Hettiarachchi has an interest in fixed prosthetics such as crowns, bridges and implants. This said however, he is a strong believer of preventative therapy, being a strong advocate of conservative treatments before resorting to more invasive alternatives.
In his spare time, he regularly attends Dental Board approved courses to further his knowledge base in many fields and maintain a current and up to date understanding of the current best practice. Pramesh takes pride in his passion for learning.
Hobbies: Cricket, Table Tennis, Reading, Movies and Computer Games
Advice: It’s amazing what a positive outlook on life can do. A well maintained and clean mouth is a happy mouth. Maintain a good oral status because conservative treatment is not only less invasive but less costly.
